What you see often depends on what you are looking for... And That's worth thinking about.

Today was not a good day!

So don’t try to convince me that

There is something good in every day.

Because when you take a closer look

The world seems a pretty evil place.

Even if,

Some goodness does shine through,

Once in awhile,

Satisfaction and happiness don’t last.

And it’s not true that

It’s all in our hearts and minds,

Because

True happiness can be obtained

Only if one’s surroundings are good!

It’s not true that good exists

And I’m sure you can agree that

The realities I see

Create,

My Attitude,

My Emotions, My Feelings, and

It’s all beyond my control.

So you will never hear me say.

Today was a good day.
